Bradford C. Gelzayd, MD, FACP, FACG, AGAF

Board Certified in Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine; Fellowship trained
in Hepatology

 

Dr. Gelzayd obtained a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Michigan and a Medical Doctorate degree from Wayne State University Medical School. Following an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan, he completed a Fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a Fellowship in hepatology at the University of Miami Medical Center. Dr. Gelzayd received a number of honors, including several years as a Michigan “Top Doc” and served on the American Liver Foundation Board before moving his family to Arizona in 2006.

Southwest Digestive Specialists, located on the Scottsdale Healthcare Shea campus, specializes in all clinical ailments of the intestinal tract, pancreas and liver. Dr. Gelzayd also serves on the Medical Boards of both the American Liver Foundation and CCFA.

Office Hours & Appointments

The offices of Southwest Digestive Specialists are open as follows:

• Scottsdale – Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Fountain Hills – Tuesdays (twice monthly) from 1 – 5 p.m.

Appointments can be made during that time, except between noon – 1 p.m., by calling 480-767-7273. To prevent being billed, office visit and procedure cancellations must be called into the office at least 24 hours in advance.

Hospital Privileges

Dr. Gelzayd is a member of the Scottsdale Healthcare Shea medical staff and performs endoscopies at a private endoscopy center.
